Question for the Catholic folks: are there any free, online Bible commentaries that you would recommend? I found Haydock, but am not sure if he is still highly regarded. Are there others that are viewed as more authoritative/useful?

@Nathaniel I've found that to be the best online commentary (I also only found it because it was recommended to me here). Before I used usccb.org, which has the new american bible with all the same footnotes you'd find in the $7.00 print version. But the best commentary in the entire English speaking world is the footnotes of the Ignatius Bible.
Fr. Knox has been dead a long time, I wonder when his Bible's going to be public domained. knoxbible.com/index.html

@PeterTurner Are you referring to the multi-volume Ignatius Catholic Study Bible produced by Hahn/Mitch? Unfortunately it looks like the OT is generally published book-by-book, unless I'm missing something. Anyway, thanks for the confirmation of Haydock; I'll keep the usccb site in mind as well.
