@Mokubai That's not true, I am merely pointing out that Windows clipboard has a certain restriction, so any tools recommended should not rely on it. I am not looking at editing/copying binary data so a hex editor is not a good solution (unless it supports editing in full text mode). I already pointed out some editors are able to copy content with null characters indirectly (like Sublime Text's line copy function, which does duplicate the entire line even with nulls)

Actually, I do have a solution for my question now, but I can't post it since it got closed.

And from the related questions, I get the feeling that I am subjected to entirely different standards when asking the same question that has been asked for the OS environments.

For now I have edited it to remove the superfluous information and turned it into more of a story of what is happening, why it's bad, why certain things will not work and have reopened it.
