@JourneymanGeek or anyone I have an in-depth question about sending a tv signal over a wireless client/repeater bridge. My question contains a summary, lots of information about the hardware and settings, and a picture of the setup. This question will likely take hours to think-up and write/type. I want to make sure that those foreseeable hours don't end up being all for nothing due to site rule violations. Thus, I have some questions pertaining to my question.

@JonnyHenly Yeah, that's a good idea
Shoot it at me ;p

@JourneymanGeek Is it alright to post a rather long question with lots of settings information about hardware devices initially or should I wait till prompted by a commenter/answerer?

@JonnyHenly: As much information as possible, but mind the formatting.
I'd probably start with a problem definition (TLDR) and try to break up settings by device.

@JourneymanGeek awesome, that's what I was thinking. Regarding the formatting, is it possible to have a header with the device name and then underneath have a scroll-view with all the information pertaining to that device, so that it consolidates room, like the <pre> tag or code formatting?

hm...
ugh, I know something does that
I'd just use code blocks ;p

: ) sounds good.
I noticed "personal and home computer networking" in the "What topics can I ask about here?" page. Does this relate to everything in my home network, for instance if I had a semi-consumer WAP, that's firmware isn't suppose to be accessed by the consumer but can be. Would I be breaking any rules by asking about that WAP's firmware?

hmm
Yeah, that should be ok
If you're running 10gbe fibre at home, and somehow feel the need to ask here...
;p

cool
one last question
I noticed on the Network Engineering community that "On-topic: Tools used by Network Engineers Q: Monitoring Network Traffic
Q: Network monitoring and mapping software" where on topic.
Are these also on topic for SuperUser?

So, I will have to make 2 waves of purchasing to use KOHL'S $15 coupons? http://www.kohlscorporation.com/ecom/windows/2010_MayUpdate/KCash/15KohlsCash.html

That means I will end up with stuff I don't need.

@JonnyHenly: In general most things involving computers and networks are on topic here
Phone stuff isn't. Tablet stuff is a grey area
@Boris_yo: wrong channel (again!)

@JourneymanGeek Why "again"?

Cause this isn't the first time? ;p

Right... Do you know online tool/software that works like CamelCamelCamel or Keepa but monitors every US online store there is? Amazon only monitoring is limited so I wanted to know about something that broadens horizons to monitor eBay, Rakuten etc.
