It is a very silly lobster. But I am in love with those tadpoles. Also there is a cute salamander with a ribbon its neck! Thank you for grabbing the large version.
@BESW do you think you could make a Dwarf mode for me? I am interested in what you think about it... also... brain going to sleep from endurance exercises this morning
Great session tonight. Final scene between myself and another hardcore story-roleplayer was... intense.

It was actually in 5e, too, which was cool and surprised me.

I was a cleric who had recently changed gods due to a vision of a specific scene and task I had been given.
user61230
I ended up in a battle of wits between myself and another player which easily lasted half an hour - trust in faith and religion versus trust in the concrete and known.
user61230
On a more concrete level, I wanted people to trust the vision I had, and they wanted people to trust a dragon-human that we'd met.

At the end of it, they tried turning into an octopus and fleeing with the staff that was the focus of the task.

I reached out to touch it and summon the deity back. I successfully touched it, issued the invocation, and... nothing.

Leaving my character in a crisis of faith and the other character as a giant octopus a thousand feet underwater fleeing with the staff.

I think the ultimate consequence for my character is going to be that I lose the confidence in the source and ability of my magic, which I will consequently lose simply because I don't think I have it anymore and don't want to find out by testing it.
Well I'll be damned if Secrets of Cats, a game about magical cats, doesn't have the simplest and most interesting different-scale-combat rules ever
"If you’re a cat attacking a mouse, then you’re two rungs higher on the scale ladder. The mouse gets +2 to his defense roll, but you get +4 to your Weapon rating if you hit him. If the mouse counterattacks, he gets +2 to his attack roll, but you get +4 to your Armor rating if he hits you."
@BESW I was looking for ship combat scale stuff... apparently, this could work really well, in my opinion... cats and mice
Maybe I can hack it up a bit, but either way, I don't know if it's gonna be necessary...
as in, if any extra mechanics will be necessary...
Also, I found something quite brilliant! It's quite an inventive system, uses Fate dice, but the + and - simply represent different types of narrative resources, tied in with Dungeon World-like moves... also, all attacks inflict conditions.. it's quite intriguing!
I, a member of a labor union, work on a day celebrating labor unions. My non-union managers do not work this day. everyone I know who is in a labor union works this day, and no one I know who is NOT in a labor union does not
