Yep that is the last possibility to be tested :-) My technical friendly helper ( this user is maybe interested in the new site too http://physics.stackexchange.com/users/21123/a-friendly-helper), has found out, that the Markdown Editor with Latex swallows from time to time som characters, such to obtain "row breaks" in a matix one has to write /// instead o // for example. Ok, so that's the problem. (It's "\\", not "\\\", by the way) It is important to ensure that it is correctly added, i.e. that "\\" is enough, since or else, the imported data dumps will not function well. By the way, after quitting the installation of the data dump, I can see that the data dumps, once downloaded, are divided by site.

I admit that this may look a bit premature, as we do not yet have a site online (however we are testing offline) … But to quickly get a viable and large enough community right from the start when we go online, it can help to think about in advance how the site can be … Continue reading →

Thinking about my recent MSO question and then reading this comment http://meta.physics.stackexchange.com/questions/5122/i-leave-physics-se-this-is-my-good-bye-note#comment14802_5122f my gut feeling is that the new site might become more important as a repository for Physics SE questions too, than we first thought. Since these questions have no other place to go (Astronomy and the Popular Sci
