First two discussion points:

1. What times are good for all or most of us to meet and get together in a live chat?

2. What do you think your expected rate of contribution will be, and how soon will you be ready? We're aiming for at least one post on the blog per week (over the whole site, not per person) and we have quite a few contributors, so I'm not too worried, but I'd love to start getting a rough schedule together.

Good times for me to be in chat are 17:00 -> 21:00 GMT

I am going to work on a contribution this weekend, and over next week. So I can have something ready in 14 days at the latest, but ideally in 7.

Good times for me to be in chat on weekends are 8:00 -> 22:00 GMT

I think contribution frequency is entirely dependent on how many people we have contributing (obviously). Once per month seems to be what most people are willing to do, so if we can keep that up we should be able to have one or two posts per week.

Also we can create a backlog, so if we start out with loads of articles, they don't all go up at the same time.
