@quid, that's a very valiant and valuable effort. Thank you! I hope I will also help out and edit a few questions occasionally. Do you have a specific plan at this point?
@RicardoAndrade no nothing very specific. I just plan to go through the list, from oldest to newest, and retag whatever needs a retag. More specifically: If there is a toplevel geometry tag I do not retag of course. Also if there is another toplevel tag and it seems tagged alright without the geometry tag I leave it (at least for now). Even if there is no toplevel tag but it is still tagged alright I might leave it.
Also unusual cases I leave for now (but record them via favoriting to come back latter)
It might not be that bad in the end the total number of retags necessary.
@quid, that's pretty much what I would try to do. I think the biggest problem with the tag 'geometry' is the enormous amount of low quality and nearly off-topic questions.
For reference and venting: The tag 'calculus' got recreated today. I retagged the offending question. However, before the tag got erased, a new off-topic question tagged 'calculus' was asked within a few hours. I just retagged that as well. In sum, the tag 'calculus' is a pain.
